Eco Friendly ToGo Containers Now Available

The Greenwich cafe is centrally located at the University Village and offers a variety of foods ranging from continental breakfast to hot homemade dinners.

Daily, you'll find seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt and a cereal bar. House made soups and fresh salads which change daily and compliment our great salad bar. Special monotony breakers include holiday favorites such as prime rib and turkey dinners and made to order specialty pastas.

Every effort is made to accommodate all dietary needs. Lactose free and vegetarian options are available as well as other more specific requests. Please speak with the office or cafe staff for details.

Meal period one is from 10:30am -1:30pm for continental breakfast or lunch. Each student is permitted one meal during this meal period Meal period two is from 5:00pm -7:00pm for dinner.

*Note that hours are truncated during all CSUF intersession and summer periods. Intersession and Summer hours are 11:00am to 1:30pm for meal period one and 5:00pm to 6:30pm for meal period two. The Cafeteria is closed for two weeks during the winter and and one week during spring break to coincide with the CSUF schedule.

Your First Visit

The first time you go to a meal period your meal card will be ready for pick-up if you have previously taken a photo or you will need to so at that time. If in the event your meal card is not ready, you will still be permitted to eat if you are a current resident. Please provide identification upon request to the cafeteria staff.

Meal Cards

Each resident must present his or her photo meal card each time they arrive for a meal. Students are not permitted to loan their cards out or have their roommates come get a meal for them. If your meal card is lost or stolen, meals can be purchased daily for $7.50 or a $15.00 fee must be paid for each replacement meal card. Funds can be refunded if the meal card is located by the end of the week in whick a replacement card is purchased. Please inquire in the office for details.

To Go Meals

To go meals are available to all students at any meal period. It is complementary to students who provide their own containers and $.50 for our containers. Students who dine in the cafeteria are not permitted non-paying guests at any time nor can they take any additional food to go.

Comments

Fill out our online comment card or drop a handwritten copy in our comments box located in the cafeteria. We encourage comments regarding requests, compliments and complaints about our service to continue to provide the best service possible. You may remain anonymous if you like, just leave any personal information fields blank. All suggestions are considered, look for responses posted near the comment cards.

Sack Lunch Program

When it is not possible to make it to the cafeteria during a regularly scheduled meal time simply request a sack lunch. Fill out the request for a turn it into the cafeteria staff the day before pick-up. Sack lunches can be picked up from the cafeteria using the back door on the loading dock. You can find the forms on the bulletin board in the cafeteria or in the office.

Guests

Due to the all you can eat nature of our cafeteria, guests are not permitted at any time unless an individual meal is purchased. Inquire in the cafeteria for current pricing.

Meal plans are included in the rent for all residents, no exceptions. Individual meals are available to non-residents for $7.50. A meal plan for the academic year is also available to non-residents for a semester rate. Students are permitted to eat at the cafeteria during the semester that the meal plan is purchased for. Intersession and Summer are available at additional cost.
