Many parents want to be assured that they are leaving their student in good hands. University Village recognizes much of the student’s experience in housing will be dependent on the staff. Here is some information on our current staff.
Sandy Ilic, Director of Student Affairs, is a graduate of Chapman University, holding a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Advertising. She resides on site at University Village, and is responsible for all areas of student life including room arrangements, social activities and overseeing a staff of resident advisors.
Sarah Cabrera, Director of Housing, comes to University Village from 10 years in sales and service. Sarah handles all the payment and accounting information, and most of the office operations.
Eight Resident Advisors will reside on site and assist students in after hours lockouts, noise complaints and any after hours issues. They will also be responsible for community development and social and education activities on site.
Maintenance staff members respond to any maintenance emergencies. Regular daily maintenance is performed, and student requests are handled as quickly as possible.
We also will have a night security patrolman who will walk the grounds ensuring that the property is secure
